"Svulstige kjærlighetsbrev til surfekromatikken, vin og Bach" is the name of the long-awaited second album from Stavanger-based band VALP.

With this record, VALP takes a step into a darker universe and experiments with a bigger soundscape than before. Rough guitars, striking drums combined with both melodic vocals and rap. Dynamic and unpredictable with their paws firmly planted within the rock genre. The inspiration behind the songs is self-explanatory in the album's title: Each track can be seen as a separate letter, with varying themes. For example: "Dysania", the album's first single, a response to people's reluctance to take responsibility in social situations. "Vin" tells of the sunny and dark sides of alcohol and "Vekk meg" is a ballad about paralyzing loneliness.
