Kjell B.Larsen - Strings - LP

New solo album from Kjell B. Larsen, from the legendary prog band Ruphus.
"In connection with my 75th birthday, I booked time at Rainbow Studio (Oslo, Norway) and brought along my regular band from The Coloured Dreams: Øivind Madsen, Ture Janson, and Tore Wildhauer. The goal was to record 10-12 of my own songs in 2 days for a new album. I contacted Bugge Wesseltoft and asked if he would like to join for a couple of songs, and luckily he had a couple of days free in his tour schedule and agreed. The idea was to record all the songs live in the studio with a full band, so that the music would be filled with spontaneity. This resulted in 9 songs now being ready for release, and all songs are first or second takes. The album consists of 8 instrumental tracks, of which 2 feature me alone on acoustic guitar. The 9th track is a new version of a Ruphus song featuring my old friend Gudny Aspaas on vocals".
