«My Tongue Is Stuck to the Roof of My Mouth And That Is All I Can Think About» is the name of eie’s long awaited debut album, released on Apollon Records. Eie combines noisy guitars and drums with hard-hitting lyrics about unhealthy and destructive habits - As well as criticism of people unaware of their own privilege and the power and responsibility that comes with it. Melodic vocals in one song, slam poetry in the next, as well as atmospheric autoharp and the occasional theremin.
New Endre Olsen & Ragnhild Kambo Grov singel!
Endre Olsen and Ragnhild Kambo Grov are ready with their third album on Apollon Records, Wake me longer awake. Following up the earlier dialect-anchored records Bøttevis med blätt (2018) and Baklengs tebake (2021), completing a kind of trilogy. In 2022, Olsen received the Olav H. Hauge grant for young poets for the lyrics on the two previous records. The following year, he created the commissioned work "Sje det som sker, eg møter deg her" here at the poetry festival in Ulvik, as part of the award ceremony. The songs on this new album are based on this work.
On the way home from a particularly successful concert at «Festival Crescendo» in the south of France in August 2022, keyboard player Øyvind said with great enthusiasm: “For once, let’s really try to have the same line-up on the next record!” Pymlico has always had a rotating lineup, with different musicians involved, but after the release of “Supermassive” in 2022, there’s no doubt that the current seven members - despite a wide age range and varied musical backgrounds – truly works together, both personally and musically.
