With this release, VALP steps into a darker sonic landscape, expanding their sound with rough guitars, punchy drums, melodic vocals, and rap. Dynamic, unpredictable, and firmly rooted in rock, the album unfolds like a series of musical letters—each track exploring its own theme.
First single “Dysania” confronts social passivity, “Vin” captures both the light and dark sides of alcohol, and “Vekk meg” delivers a haunting ballad about paralyzing loneliness.

Purple Skies is an underground rock band from Bergen, Norway, formed in 2017. Rooted in late ’60s and ’70s heavy rock with a dark touch of doom, they deliver fuzz-drenched riffs and timeless melodies inspired by stoner rock, proto-doom, and vintage heavy rock.
Their latest album, A Million Years, was recorded at Polyfon Studio in Bergen with producer Leif Herland. Aiming for a sound that feels both timeless and current, the band crafted an uncompromising record that captures their most powerful performances to date.
Drawing inspiration from Swedish Witchcraft and the spirit of Black Sabbath’s Vol. 4, A Million Years bridges retro and modern rock — heavy, melodic, and honest, with both power and precision.

Laughing Stock – Life in Seven Dreams
The seventh album in seven years from Laughing Stock presents seven new songs woven together as a continuous dream-like suite — shifting between beauty, darkness, and intensity.
Created during a difficult and personal year for the band, the record carries an emotional weight reflected throughout the music. The songs are connected by a recitation of “A Dream Within a Dream” by Edgar Allan Poe, performed by Colin Bass (Camel).
Guest appearances include Tim Bowness (“Not Today”), Bjørnar Kristiansen (Dwaal), and Terje Johannesen on trumpet. Produced and mixed by Jan Mikael Sørensen, mastered by Jacob Holm-Lupo, with artwork by Jan Erik Kirkevold Nilsen.
