Suffer With Me is a crucial chapter in the story of Patriarchy—a band forged in isolation but perfected in front of an audience. Inspired by a lyric in fan-favorite “Suffer,” the title encapsulates lead singer Actually’s invitation to the listener, much like to the live crowd, to join her in an intense, visceral journey through the songs that have defined the last few years of her life. There's no holding back here—Actually and The Drummer leave it all on stage. Blood and sweat are commonplace, clothing is optional, and the audience is never spared from the brutal reality of it all. This marks the pinnacle of The Unself era, with the band proudly welcoming newcomers into the suffering.

Over the past three years, Patriarchy has torn through Europe and North America, building a reputation as a live act that can’t be missed. Fans frequently remarked that the band’s raw, untamed energy on stage was an entirely different animal from their studio recordings—so they set out to capture it authentically.

Recorded live at a sold-out Moth Club—London’s legendary underground venue—this album marks their electrifying London debut after two reschedules. The performance concluded their 30-date European tour, sharp and well-rehearsed, delivering a set that demanded to be immortalized.

Moth Club’s in-house engineer and long-time friend, Jack Milwaukee of M!R!M, worked closely with the band to establish a precise recording setup. Ambient mics captured every visceral detail—from The Drummer’s improvised pounding on metal poles and noise machines, to Actually’s off-mic screams, rattling shakers, and deafening guitar chaos.

With minimal editing, the album preserves every improvised moment, only cutting one unreleased track.

This is Patriarchy, raw and unfiltered—just as they were meant to be heard.
