Two New Releases

William Hut — Eternal Pieces

Norwegian indie pop artist William Hut returns with Eternal Pieces, a deeply personal 12-track album capturing one of the most emotionally resonant periods of his career. Known for his Grammy-winning work with Poor Rich Ones, Hut delivers some of his most direct and vulnerable songs to date.

Led by the confessional focus track “It Was Only Me,” the album explores reflection, resilience, and compassion. Singles like “You Can’t Stop,” “River’s Flood,” and “Hold On To Love” trace a powerful emotional journey that feels both intimate and timely.

Blending atmospheric indie pop with cinematic warmth, Eternal Pieces will resonate with fans of Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Phoebe Bridgers, and Death Cab for Cutie — while remaining unmistakably Hut’s own.

Danakil Safari — From the Soil

Image

Danakil Safari is a Norwegian quintet drawing inspiration from ethiojazz — Ethiopian music shaped by American traditions with deep African roots.

Named after the unforgiving Danakil Depression in northern Ethiopia, the band channels desert heat, volcanic tension, and hypnotic grooves into music that’s dark, sinister, and irresistibly fun. Murkier than Mordor and far warmer than Oslo, their sound is built for both deep listening and ecstatic live moments.

This new album is a journey through shadowy rhythms, heavy atmospheres, and seriously good times — perfect for adventurous listeners and groove seekers alike.
