Fälaren’s debut album “Ljora” out on cd & vinyl + Lonely Crowd new album out!

Fälaren’s debut album “Ljora” blends psychedelic shoegaze, jazz rock, Scandinavian folk traditions and improvisation across 7 dynamic tracks. Recorded live in rural southern Norway with no producer or engineer present, the album captures raw performances, happy accidents, and emotional contrasts between darkness and hope.

Named after the traditional roof opening that lets smoke out and light in, “Ljora” explores themes of transition — from winter to spring, depression to renewal — through immersive soundscapes, understated vocals, and ritualistic lyricism.

Lonely Crowd is finally ready with the sequel to the album that gave them four VG list hits and a third place on the "Billboard Norway Digital Song Chart". The album is titled "By the Time You Read This" and is being released by Apollon Records, whose boss, Robin Mortensen, also released the first single from Lonely Crowd's previous album - back then on Karisma Records. It will not be the only reunion - on the album they have once again included long-time Bowie and Iggy guitarist Kevin Armstrong. Other artists who will be featured on the album include Wholy Martin and jazz trumpeter Arve Henriksen, who is known for his collaboration with David Sylvian.
