Fälaren’s debut album “Ljora” blends psychedelic shoegaze, jazz rock, Scandinavian folk traditions and improvisation across 7 dynamic tracks. Recorded live in rural southern Norway with no producer or engineer present, the album captures raw performances, happy accidents, and emotional contrasts between darkness and hope.
Named after the traditional roof opening that lets smoke out and light in, “Ljora” explores themes of transition — from winter to spring, depression to renewal — through immersive soundscapes, understated vocals, and ritualistic lyricism.
