Norwegian supergroup Amazing Space is set to launch their much-anticipated debut album, Parallel Dreams, on May 30 via Apollon Records—and the indie scene is buzzing. With an all-star lineup pulled from some of Norway’s most beloved bands, Amazing Space weaves dreamy textures, lush harmonies, and vintage warmth into a genre-blurring collection that’s already gaining traction on national radio.
Comprised of seasoned musicians from groups such as Aurora, Datarock, Casiokids, Electric Eye, Silja Sol, Young Dreams, The Megaphonic Thrift, Mighty Magnolias, and more, Amazing Space is more than a new band—it’s a convergence of Norway’s finest.

On Parallel Dreams, the band delivers eight atmospheric tracks steeped in airy guitar solos, dreamy analog synths, rich vocal harmonies, and a soft but unmistakable nod to the 80s/90s shoegaze era. Lyrically crafted by Emil Nordtveit, the album explores emotional depth with a poetic, parallel-universe twist.
Adding to the already rich sonic palette, Charlie Hall of The War on Drugs contributes drums, while saxophonist Thomas Nøkling adds a jazzy, ambient flair.
The album was mixed by guitarist Fredrik Vogsborg and mastered by synth wizard Anders Bjelland, keeping the project tight within the collective’s talented hands.
Fans have already been treated to four singles—"Parallel Dreams", "Ode to You", "Common Ground", and "I'm in Reverse". These tracks have not only made waves on Norwegian national radio but also solidified Amazing Space as one of the most promising new indie outfits in Scandinavia.
